Mashaallah, time has gone by so fast and before we realize it, the first week of the term has gone by.
...and what a week it has been :)
For some of our preschoolers, it would be their first ever week of school. For the first time, some of our brave little preschoolers are by themselves, with their peers and without their parents. Imagine how anxious and excited they must feel!
Some of you might be wondering what have they been up to during their first week. Well, by Friday, most of them have already warmed up and made friends. They are learning to trust their teachers as well.
On Friday morning, we observed the two groups of preschoolers. One group was working with pairs/groups and learning numbers. They were listening to their teachers and behaving very well.
View from outside of the classroom.
Working in pairs/groups - they need to hold up the number when the teacher calls it out.
Demonstrating numbers with their little fingers!
The other group was learning how to write their names properly. They had to ensure the first letter of their names must be a capital letter (mashaallah, how adorable is that?). They were also learning on how to differentiate capital letters and small letters.
Teachers monitoring their students :)
The students were writing on laminated paper using marker pens.
She drew hearts all over her paper!
The boy on the left was erasing his laminated paper very very fast while making the sound of a race car!
"Look, teacher, look!"
Looks like class was a lot of fun - they are simultaneously learning and having a pleasant time. Well done, oh brave prechoolers! May you continue to grow and have many more learning sessions and adventures in school, inshaa Allah.
May Allah bless our efforts and deeds.
